Genie

In the past, in the village, mosques were only crowded with children who recited the Koran at night. Few adults pray in congregation at the mosque because their parents used to believe in occult things. So offerings or incense that are burned are easy to find under big trees or other places. Likewise with shamanism or guards from the jinn.

Behind my grandmother's house was a house where a family lived, a man and his children. After his son grew up and went to town, the man lived alone in his house. Many people have known that the man has a guardian genie for a long time.

A strange incident occurred after he died. There are frequent apparitions of a tall, black figure pacing back and forth in the empty house. When the children go home to take care of their father's death, they are often disturbed while sleeping and the guests have gone home. The genie was literally seen pacing around the house or standing still staring at the people who were sleeping there. So they are not strong enough and choose to stay at a relative's house.

Even if my father was staying over at grandma's house, he often heard the sound of broken things being slammed or voices crying wailing. My grandmother said the genie was sad because his master left him. The longer the house was getting gloomy and even the children of the house owners did not dare to live there. Once at night and my father intended to fetch water from the well at home (because the well at home was dry), when he arrived near the well, he saw a tall black figure standing at the edge of the well, looking angry as if forbidding him to take water from the well. My father immediately turned around and ran.

Because many felt disturbed, the homeowner's son called a "smart person" to drive the guard away. But apparently it couldn't, because the guard was still there because the binding amulet was planted in that house. Unfortunately no one knows where the deceased buried his amulet.

So all that can be done is to calm the genie so that it doesn't disturb the residents living around it. Now there are no scary incidents except just a glimpse of his figure pacing back and forth in the house. The house that is no longer inhabited and the bushes that grow thick and tall make the house still scary even though there are no more incidents like before.
